The Many Uses of a Portable Sewing Machine |
| When you have a portable sewing machine, you have many options in front of you for sewing. This means that you can take your sewing machine with you where ever you might want to go. This is a great feature for anyone that likes to sew or quilt and you will find that once you get yourself a portable machine, you will think of many more places that you would like to take the machine. If you are a member of a quilting guild, you might want to take your portable sewing machine to one of your meetings. Many quilting guilds will have meetings that the members can bring their machines and sew at. This is great for sewing with others, and you all might have a charity quilt that you are trying to finish up to give away. This is a great way to get something done fast, that would other wise take a while to finish and complete. Any member of a sewing group would love to have a portable sewing machine to take to sewing bees as well. This way you are all sewing together, and are able to take and visit while you are working on your sewing projects. You will see that there are many women that love to sew with others and you will be one of them once you get a machine that is portable. This is also a wonderful way to teach others how to sew. Maybe someone who is wanting to learn to sew is saving up for a new machine. You could take your portable machine and teach someone, then they can buy their own once they have learned how to use it. Going on vacation to a vacation home in another state? If this is the case, you can pack up your portable sewing machine and take up very little room. You will love being able to sew while you are relaxing in your vacation home and you will not have to leave any projects behind that are unfinished. Also if you go to quilt retreats, you can take you machine as well. There are just so many opportunities that you might miss out on if you do not have a machine that is portable.
